Freighter Memory caught with drugs in Caribbean sea

On Aug 10 US Coast Guard intercepted general cargo vessel Memory in the Caribbean sea and found some 970 kg of cocaine, hidden on board. Little doubt USCG used intelligence to intercept the vessel. On Aug 17 Memory was docked in Guantanamo, on Aug 28 USCG said the vessel, 11 suspects and narcotics were turned over to the Department of Justice, Southern District of Florida for prosecution.
