Dutch freighter Arklow Beach collided with French fishing vessel Elluma, Bay of Biscay

In the afternoon Aug 22 general cargo vessel Arklow Beach collided with a fishing vessel Elluma some 14 nm SW of Penmarc, Bay of Biscay. Arklow Beach suffered slight damage and continued her voyage, while Elluma reported serious damages, but no leak, still capable of sailing under own power. One of the two crew of Elluma was injured and had to be medevaced, it is understood that injures are not life-threatening. Elluma returned to home port escorted by a rescue boat.
