Boxship Caravel Pride towed to safety after engine failure, Mormugao
Boxship Caravel Pride suffered engine failure on July 16 in Arabian sea in rough seas, off Mormugao port, India. Vessel wasn’t able to drop an anchor to prevent drifting dangerously close to the shore. Salvage tugs from Mormugao port were sent to the distressed vessel, they managed to secure a tow line and tow vessel to Mormugao. Vessel was towed to Mormugao and docked on July 21.
