Tanker Moresby 9 attacked, cargo reportedly stolen, Anambas Archipelago again

Product tanker Moresby 9 was reported boarded by pirates on July 4 at 1938 LT in position 03 23.3N 105 08.9E, 31 nm NW of westernmost island of Anambas Archipelago, South China Sea. The reports are contradictory as on further events – some say vessel contacted owner and investigation under way, some say vessel was boarded by pirates, who stole the cargo, 2200 tons of MGO fuel.
Vessel was attacked or hijacked in Anambas Archipelago area, where recently there was another accident involving the mysterious abandoned tanker: Modern Mary Celeste – the mystery of tanker Galuh Pusaka, South China sea
