Freighter Haci Suvari aground and refloated, Turkey

General cargo vessel Haci Suvari ran aground in the evening July 1 in Aegean sea in Kumburun area near Akcansa Cement Factory terminal, Turkish mainland coast, south of Dardanelles Strait. Salvage contract was signed with Turkish Maritime Rescue, vessel was refloated on July 5 and taken to port. Vessel was loaded with 1900 tons of clinker.
