June 16, 2014 at 14:17 by Svitlana Slavina in Accidents

Two men were lucky to get out uninjured after their small boat crashed with a ferry on Friday evening in Poole Harbour, United Kingdom.

The small dinghy suffered an engine failure when it was sailing in the path of the chain ferry BRAMBLEBUSH BAY. The two sailors could not start the engine in time and it caused a collision with the ferry. The men were swept into the water: one man went under the ferry and another was adrift at sea. Fortunately, the two sailors were rescued and escaped uninjured from the crash. The two Poole’s lifeboats were dispatched to the scene of incident and assisted by removing the small boat after the collision. According to the officials, later the lucky sailors were seen carrying their broken dinghy to their car.
