Russian submarine rescued sailors in White Sea
Russian nuclear submarine VORONEZH came to help the small boat BARENTS 1100 when it was in distress in the White Sea.
The sailors of the BARENTS 1100 gave a distress call on Sunday afternoon as they got into the stormy weather while sailing in the White Sea. The VORONEZH happened to be the closest to the distressed boat and set off to rescue it. When the submarine arrived to the small boat, the men from the BARENTS 1100 were transferred aboard the VORONEZH. Shortly after the 11 meter long boat was safely towed by submarine.
