YMM and Wan Hai’s Jointly Operated Taiwan – Indonesia Service Closes
The Taiwan – Indonesia service that was jointly operated by Yang Ming Marine (TIS) and Wan Hai (THI) is now closed. The service deployed 3 vessels on a weekly frequency and a 21 day-rotation. It had an average weekly service capacity of 1,780 TEU and the last sailing of the service was executed by the vessel PRINCESS OF LUCK which phased out on 24th May.
As a consequence of the terminated service, Yang Ming takes slots on Wan Hai’s Taiwan - Indonesia TPI service. Evergreen used to operate on the service, branding it TCI and provided 1 vessel. However the Taiwanese carrier stops its participation on the service with immediate effect. The service continues deploying a total of 3 vessels on a weekly frequency and YMM brands it TCI. The service has an average weekly service capacity of 1,470 TEU.
