​MOL, APL and HMM add East Coast North America Ports to their Central America – West Coast South America Service

MOL, APL and Hyundai extend the port rotation of their jointly operated West Coast Central America – West Coast South America service by adding US East Coast ports. MOL keeps branding the service ACW while APL renames the service into AES and HMM brands it LUE instead of PAX. The ports of New York, Charleston, Miami, Jacksonville and Manzanillo are added to the rotation which and the rotation time is stretched from 3 weeks to 6 weeks. The service runs on a weekly frequency deploying 6 vessels of which four are taken from the closing North Europe – East Coast North America AEE service. It has an average weekly service capacity of 3,730 TEU.
