​CMA CGM Takes Slots on MSC’s West Coast South America – East Coast North America Service

CMA CGM takes slots on MSC’s West Coast South America – East Coast North America service starting from 12th June. CMA CGM brands the service Atlanta Bridge and starts slotting on the 4,440 TEU vessel MSC FLORIDA from Valparaiso. Maersk is already taking slots on the service (see news below: Maersk takes slots on MSC's West Coast South America -East Coast North America service).

The service deploys 7 vessels on a weekly frequency and it has an average weekly service capacity of 4,645 TEU. By slotting on the service, CMA CGM adds the West Coast South America – East Coast North America trade lane to its coverage for the first time. The East Coast South America – East Coast North America corridor is already covered by the French carrier through slots on MSC’s US ECSA STRING, which is branded PARAN BRIDGE by CMA CGM.

Maersk Takes Slots on MSC’s West Coast South America – East Coast North America Service

Maersk becomes a slot partner on MSC’s West Coast South America – East Coast North America service. Maersk started slotting on the service with the vessel MSC FEDERICA on 7th May from Arica. The service deploys 7 vessels on a weekly frequency and a 49 day-rotation. It has an average weekly service capacity of 4,750 TEU.

The service will undergo changes to its port rotation, as San Antonio will be replaced by a port call at Valparaiso on 5th June by the vessel MSC EMMA. This will be the only call at Valparaiso in the Maersk service network. The corridor is covered by one other service, which has an average weekly service capacity of 3,400 TEU and is operated by CCNI (Americas), CSAV (New Americas) and Hamburg Süd (ECNA/ WCSA).
