G6 Alliance Reorganises its Far East – East Coast North America via Panama Service NYE/SCE
The G6 alliance splits it combined NYE/ SCE Far East – East Coast North America via Panama service into two independent services again with immediate effect. NYE will be operated by NYK and Hyundai, deploying a total of 10 vessels on a weekly frequency. The service will be inaugurated on 18th May by the 4,730 TEU vessel HYUNDAI FORWARD from Kaohsiung. The other G6 alliance members take slots on the service which will have an average weekly capacity of 4,730 TEU.
The SCE service will be jointly operated by NYK, ZIM and OOCL and it will be inaugurated by the 5,025 TEU vessel E.R. DENVER on 15th May from Xiamen. The service will deploy 9 vessels on a weekly frequency with an average weekly capacity of 4,900 TEU. The other G6 alliance members take slots on this service.
Currently, the G6 alliance members offer another Far East – East Coast North America via Pana- ma service branded NCE and 3 Far East – East Coast North America via Suez services branded: CEC, AZX and SVS.

SCE: Xiamen - Kaohsiung - Dachan Bay (Shenzhen) - Hong Kong - Yantian (Shenzhen)-Panama Canal (waypoint) - Manzanillo (Pan) - Kingston - Savannah - Charleston - Kingston - Manzanillo (Pan) - Panama Canal (waypoint) – Xiamen
