CMA CGM, UASC and CSCL Launch a News South East Asia – Red Sea Service
CMA CGM, UASC and CSCL together launch a new South East Asia – Red Sea service today, 8th May. UASC brands the service ARC2 while CMA CGM brands it REX3 as its old REX3 service that was jointly operated with Evergreen and is now closed. Yang Ming Marine takes slots on the service and names it RS2. The service deploys 7 vessels on a weekly frequency and it is expected to have an average weekly service capacity of 6,000 TEU. Three of the 7 vessels are yet to be nominated.
Currently UASC, CSCL, CMA CGM and Yang Ming Marine are already partners on another Far East – Red Sea service branded ARC1, RES1, REX2 and RES respectively.
REX3/ ARC2: Xiamen - Yantian (Shenzhen) - Shekou (Shenzhen) - Port Kelang - Djibouti - Jeddah - Port Sudan - Djibouti - Port Kelang - Xiamen
