Hanjin makes adjustments to its China – Korea services KCX and TEF

April 8, 2014 at 10:15 by FleetMon Container Liner News in Container Shipping

As of the end of this week Hanjin’s KCX service will reduce the port calls in its port rotation drastically. The service which used to call at Busan - Kwangyang - Pyeongtaek - Lianyungang and Qingdao now becomes a Busan-Qingdao shuttle. The shuttle will run on a 7 day frequency and deploy the 2,930 TEU vessel HANJIN KAOHSIUNG.

As of mid-April, Hanjin stops taking slots on the China – Korea service TEF that is operated by XPRESS. The service deploys 1 vessel every 7 days and sails between Busan and Dailan. However to maintain its offer, Hanjin launches a new TEF service. The service will run on a weekly frequency and deploy the 3,400 TEU vessel HANJIN ALGECIRAS, who will inaugurate the route on 15th April from Busan.
