Maersk Modifies the Europe-Far East Service AE10
As of this April Maersk modifies the port rotation of its Europe – Far East service AE10. The port of Tanjung Pelepas (Eastbound) is added on 6th April while Singapore was withdrawn from the rotation on 30th March. The 15,500 TEU vessel ELEONORA MAERSK will be the first vessel to call at Tanjung Pelepas (Eastbound) and is then phased out of the service on 14th April in Hong Kong. The vessel is replaced by the 18,270 TEU vessel MADISON MAERSK.
The service is served by a total of 12 vessels out of which now seven are EEE vessels. It runs on a weekly frequency and a 84 day-rotation with an average service capacity of 17,200 TEU per week as of mid-April.
AE10: Gdansk - Aarhus - Gothenburg - Bremerhaven - Rotterdam - Tanger Med - Suez Canal (way point) - Tanjung Pelepas (new) - Yantian (Shenzhen) - Hong Kong - Busan - Kwangyang - Ningbo - Shanghai - Yantian (Shenzhen) - Tanjung Pelepas - Suez Canal (way point) - Algeciras - Rotterdam - Bremerhaven - Gdansk
