Maersk Doubles Capacity on its Arab Gulf Feeder

Maersk’s Intra Arab Gulf Feeder increases its service capacity by deploying the 2,135 TEU vessel BALEEN (previously named LEO MONO). This will result in a doubling of the weekly service capacity from 1,100 TEU in March to 2,135 TEU in April. The service currently deploys one vessel and runs on a weekly frequency. Maersk also covers the Iraq area with Simatech’s United Arab Emirates – Iraq shuttle. The Danish carrier is taking slots on this weekly service which deploys 1 vessel with a capacity of 1,670 TEU.
