​CAP SAN LORENZO calls at port of Hamburg

The new container vessel of the shipping company Hamburg Süd CAP SAN LORENZO has docked in the Hamburg Altenwerder Container Terminal on March 23rd.

Having a reefer container capacity of 2,100 TEU the CAP SAN LORENZO is considered to be the largest reefer in the „Cap San“ class and worldwide.

Currently the container vessel is performing its first voyage from South America to Europe. After having been christened in Buenos Aires at the end of February 2014, the CAP SAN LORENZO has immediately started the new service called River Plate Express. This port rotation includes the following ports of call: Hamburg, Le Havre, Itaguai, Santos, Paranagua, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Rio Grande do Sul, Itapoa, Santos, Tangier, Rotterdam, Tilbury, Hamburg.
