Hyundai Merchant Marine Stops Offering Intra Baltic Sea Services

Feb. 25, 2014 at 11:22 by FleetMon Container Liner News in Container Shipping

The Korean container liner Hyundai Merchant Marine cancels coverage of its Intra Baltic Sea services. The carrier closes its Baltic Feeder service BL4 and also stops taking slots on OOCL’s Baltic Feeder service SBX1.
The last sailing on BL4 is made by the vessel LAURA ANN, which will finally call in Hamburg today. Hyundai deployed two vessels on this service with an average weekly capacity of 870 TEU.

As of February 22nd, Hyundai has already stopped taking slots on OOCL’s SBX1 (HMM BL7) service.
As a result of these changes, HMM does no longer provide intra Baltic Sea coverage. However, the operator's plans might change and we will keep you informed if new arrangements be disclosed.

BL4: Hamburg - Kiel Canal (way point) - St Petersburg - Gothenburg – Hamburg

BL7: Rotterdam - Antwerp - Kiel Canal (way point) - St Petersburg - Gdynia - Kiel Canal - Hamburg - Kiel Canal - Gdynia - St Petersburg - Kiel Canal - Rotterdam
