Feb. 20, 2014 at 16:09 by FleetMon Container Liner News in Container Shipping

The two container liner Marguisa and Arkas enhance their jointly operated Equatorial Guinea to the Mediterranean service and better the transshipment connections to East Mediterranean ports and Turkey. The service affected is EGAL (Marguisa) and WEST AFRICA (Arkas), respectively, and the two changes to be made are the addition of a port call at the Moroccan transshipment hub Tanger Med and the employment of one additional vessel.

On March 4th the new vessel 2,470 TEU GULBENIZ A will inaugurate the new rotation. The two liners will deploy five vessels and offer weekly sailings. The service is the only direct connection between Equatorial Guinea and the Mediterranean transshipment hubs.
