​SVENDBORG MAERSK lost 50 containers

On February 14 the container vessel SVENDBORG MAERSK reported a loss of 50 containers. At the time of incident the vessel was in the Ushant traffic separation zone, about 100 km off the french port Brest. The box ship was underway from Denmark to Suez Canal. The lost containers didn’t contain the dangerous cargo, several containers sunk. The incident was caused by stormy weather with waves of 7-8 meters and winds of 80 knots.
