​Maersk And Hamburg Sud Open A New Argentina-Brazil Shuttle

With the opening of a new Argentina to Brazil shuttle, connecting Rio Grande and San Antonio Este, Maersk and Hamburg Sud further invest in their South America portfolio. The two container liners will deploy two 1,347 TEU vessels ensuring bi-weekly calls.

The deep-water port San Antonio Este is the major shipment hub for all fruit exports from the Rio Negro province, Argentina. Rio Grande, located in the South of Brazil, offers an ideal container transshipment point and is considered Brazil’s second most important port in the development of international trade.
