Maersk Extends Participation In OOCL’s Japan-Taiwan-China Service KTX3

MCC, Maersk Line’s intra-Asia specialized subsidiary, extends its participation in OOCL’s KTX3 service which connects Japan, Taiwan and China. MCC was already slotting on this service but offered container slots for the Japanese and Chinese ports only. From February 18th on – with the vessel OOCL SAVANNAH – MCC will be offering the full rotation.

There are currently 4 vessels deployed on KTX3 with an average weekly capacity of 4,580 TEU. Other slot sharing partners are RCL and MOL.

KTX 3:
 Jakarta – Shekou (Shenzhen) – Hong Kong – Osaka (until 2014-03-02) – Tokyo – Nagoya – Yokkaichi – Kobe – Keelung – Hong Kong – Shekou (Shenzhen) – Singapore – Jakarta.
