​World’s Biggest Container Ship – CSCL Ordered Five Of A Kind 19,000 TEU Vessels

On Monday, CSCL has ordered five 19,000 TEU vessels to be built on Hyundai Heavy Industries Shipyard, South Korea. The vessels’ originally planned capacity of 18,400 TEU was upgraded at CSCL’s request to 19,000 TEU. The first vessel will be delivered in November displacing MAERSK’s Triple E vessels from the Guinness Book of Records.
