Freighter Konosha refloated, Kerch Strait

General cargo vessel Konosha refloated during Jan 6 14 after partial offload of the cargo. Vessel moved to safe waters and anchored for a hull survey. Grounding report:
Freighter Konosha aground in Kerch Strait
January 5, 2014
General cargo vessel Konosha ran aground on Jan 4 14 at around 0140 LT in Kerch Strait proceeding in southern direction off Takyl Cape, Crimea Peninsula. Vessel loaded with coal was en route from Eysk Russia to Trabzon Turkey. No damages reported, two Ukrainian tugs were contracted. Tugs arrived to the site in the evening Jan 4. Vessel was to be refloated during Jan 5. Situation as of morning Jan 6 unknown. What caused grounding is yet unknown, reportedly it was either navigational mistake or failure of steering.
