Ongoing strike in Hong Kong
The workers of the Kwai Tsing Container Terminal, the busiest container terminal in Hong Kong, still continue to strike.
Hundreds of dock workers strike for a pay rise since 9 days, which already resulted in delays for some vessels scheduled to dock at the port. Port operators said the strike is causing daily losses of 5 million dollars.
Hong Kong Shippers' Council advised operators and freight forwarders to divert cargo to Chinese port of Shenzhen if the strike continues.
