Carnival Triumph in trouble again

April 4, 2013 at 01:02 by Mikhail Voytenko in Accidents

Ill-fated cruise liner Carnival Triumph ran into trouble again, this time in safest place imaginable, in shipyard BAE in Mobile, Alabama. Liner broke free from her moorings on Apr 3 after 13:00 LT due to violent wind gusts, drifted across the river and allided with berthed unidentified vessel, with tug which was trying to tackle the liner stuck in between. Liner was secured at around 17:00, being moved to, and moored, along the Mobile Cruise Terminal. One on the BAE workers went missing. Two of them were thrown into the water when vessel broke off moorings, one was rescued, another one went missing.
