General cargo vessel Danio ran aground on the Farne Island, UK

General cargo vessel Danio ran aground near Little Harcar rock on the Farne Island, off the Northumberland coast, UK, in the early hours Mar 16 13, reported BBC. The Seahouses Lifeboat Station received a distress call from the vessel, but there is no danger to vessel or crew, no leak reported, and Ian Clayton from the RNLI expressed hope vessel will be refloated with the next high tide.  

Update from the 18th of March:

Due to the severe weather, the DANIO could still not be freed. The ship's master and crew are still aboard.
