Semi-submersible drill rig GSF Grand Banks on tow again

Semi-submersible drill rig GSF Grand Banks lost tow and spent some two days adrift in the Atlantic some 170 nautical miles off US East Coast, due to a a strong storm. Rig with 99 personnel on board was towed by an offshore tug Atlantic Hawk. Towline was re-connected on Dec 13 13, no injures reported, and according to rig’s owner, TransOcean Co., at no time there was any risk to personnel or rig.
