Container ship ARNOLD MAERSK lost 18 containers

Container ship Arnold Maersk lost 18 containers and 58 were damaged due to a bad weather in North Pacific. On a photo from local media ARNOLD MAERSK in Seattle with toppled containers on board.

Container ship Arnold Maersk reportedly suffered damages in heavy weather en route from Shanghai (Xiaoyangxiang) to Seattle. Most probably, some containers went overboard. 21 containers were reported drifting on Nov 17 13 along the line 51 47N and 53 01N 179 53W, some 60 nautical miles north of Aleutian Islands, Bering sea. Vessel arrived to Seattle on Nov 22 13.
