NYK takes slots on Hanjin-operated Transpacific service
NYK is to take slots on the Hanjin operated ‘PSX’ Far East to WCNA service.
The Japanese carrier will brand the new offer as its ‘CKX’ and will have its first slot allocation on the 10,100 teu HANJIN GREECE, sailing from Shanghai on 21 October.
The service has the following rotation: Busan, Kwangyang, Long Beach, Oakland, Seattle, Busan, Kwangyang, Shanghai, Busan.
In addition to the ‘CKYH’ partners, Evergreen has also slots on the loop.
For NYK, the new slots are aimed at replacing the capacity lost with the suspension of its previous ‘CKX’ (Hanjin: ‘CAX’).
