Tanker STENA POLARIS sailing the Arctic North-East Route

The P-MAX tanker Stena Polaris, owned by Concordia Maritime and time-chartered by Stena Bulk is currently sailing from Ust Luga in the Gulf of Finland to the port of Yosu in South Korea, with a cargo of 44,000 tons of naphtha.

The ship already entered the Laptev Sea and is announcing to arrive its destination the 19th of October at 5 pm UTC.

The voyage is a joint project between Stena Bulk and South Korean Hyundai Glovis and is mainly focused on gaining further know-how and experience on operations in Arctic, ice-covered waters.
