Livestock carrier Pearl of Para returned to Fremantle, Australia, on Sep 10 13 with propeller shaft problem. Vessel left Fremantle with 5240 cattle on board, bound for Israel, but soon had to anchor off Rottnest, trying to fix the problem. It was decided to take vessel back to Fremantle to ensure the wellbeing of the cattle, wrote The West Australian. Cattle is well and sound, it is to be decided if cattle will stay on board during repairs, or disembarked. As of morning Sep 10 vessel was anchored off Fremantle.
