Turkish bulk carrier Carmen Silva in unclear trouble in Arabian sea, hope it’s not Somalia pirates

Aug. 15, 2013 at 03:25 by Mikhail Voytenko in Accidents

Bulk carrier Carmen Silva suffered some kind of trouble and was disabled on presumably, Aug 6 13 in position 21 42N 062 04E, Arabian sea, some 370 nautical miles southeast of Fujairah. Vessel is en route from Quingdao China to Ashdod Israel, with cargo of steel. Vessel was to call Fujairah, apparently for bunkering. Present condition and position of the vessel are unknown. Last AIS signal dated Aug 6. Hope it’s not pirates, though circumstances resemble the hijack.
