16 crew of burned f/v Chun Ying rescued, 15 still missing

Reportedly 16 crew of tuna fishing vessel Chun Ying, destroyed by fire on June 26 or earlier, were rescued by a sister vessel from a life raft, derelict life raft was recovered in position 01 06N 055 25E, 15 crew are missing. There were 31 persons on board of f/v Chun Ying – 28 crew and 3 guards.

June 26 13 - Taiwanese longliner Chun Ying reportedly destroyed by fire in Indian ocean in position 01 13N 055 24E, some 350 nautical miles north of Seychelles, some 470 nm off Somalia coast.  31 crew went into two liferafts. No reports on rescue operation, vessels in the area are asked to assist.
