June 25, 2013 at 23:51 by Mikhail Voytenko in Accidents

Laker Algorail loaded with salt ran aground in Saginaw River in downtown Bay City, Saginaw Bay, Lake of Huron, at around 05:30 June 25 13. Vessel remains stuck, reportedly partial offloading on the barge required for refloating. There is no risk of hull damage, as the river bottom is clay in the area.
