Tug Jascon-4 sank on Chevron oil field, reportedly with all hands, Nigeria

Reader of the Maritime Bulletin sent a report, saying that the tug Jascon-4 sank on May 26 13 while supporting a tanker on Chevron oil field, Escravos, Nigeria. Tanker was loading oil at mooring buoy 3. Tug capsized and sank, details unknown. Reportedly, all crew died, including chief engineer, of Russian nationality.

Tug Jascon-4, IMO 9316256, 471 gt, built 2004, flag S-Vincent, manager WALVIS NIGERIA LTD.
