Laker Spruceglen aground and refloated, Great Lakes

Bulk carrier Spruceglen ran aground in lower Lake St. Clair after 18:00 LT on May 7 13. Vessel which was entering Lake St. Clair upbound, reportedly lost power, and ran aground at the southern edge of the channel, not affecting the traffic. Vessel was refloated in the afternoon May 8 with the help of the tugs, no damages reported as the bottom in grounding site is soft clay.
