Ferries collision in Istanbul, 4 passengers injured
Two passenger boats collided head-on in the Bosphorus straight during the morning hours of May 4 due to heavy fog conditions in Istanbul, causing minor injuries, reported Hurriyet Daily News. Ferry Kalamis collided with ferry Erdem Karadeniz near Topkapi Palace. Four people, one of them a tourist, suffered minor injuries. Both vessel were damaged, but safely reached the piers.
