f/v Sureste 700 struck the rocks off Stewart island, New Zealand

Korean fishing vessel Sureste 700 struck the rocks off Stewart island, South Island, New Zealand, at night Apr 26 13 while sheltering from the rough weather. The hull in fuel tank area was ruptured, some unknown amount of fuel was spilled, though later reports say there were no signs of fuel in the area. Vessel moved further offshore and anchored, waiting for survey.
