The most ancient port ever found in Egypt

Archeologists of the French Institute for Archeological Studies discovered the age-old port on the Red Sea Coast. The ancient harbor dates back to the years of the fourth dynasty King Khufu, that ruled once in Egypt. The scientists reported the discovered harbor is believed to be really busy port at the old times. The ancient port was a place of active trading and was used to export copper and different minerals. Different docks, a lot of stone anchors were found there. The archeological team discovered also the collection of papyri, which depict the routines of ancient Egypt inhabitants.
