COSCO’s boxship Chuanhe and bulk carrier Suerte collided off Xiamen

COSCO’s boxship Chuanhe and bulk carrier Suerte collided off Xiamen on Apr 8 13, circumstances unknown. Both vessels suffered damages. Chuanhe lost portside anchor and got some dents, plus damaged rails. Suerte suffered a hole with water ingress in two cargo holds. As of afternoon Apr 12 Suerte was docked in Xiamen, while Chuanhe was sailing in South China Sea en route to Hong Kong.
