Having been put into the service just four weeks ago by French container carrier CMA CGM, it is on its first voyage in European waters, and Hamburg will be the second port of call in Europe after Southampton yesterday.

With a length of 396 m and 16000 TEU container capacity, MARCO POLO takes the crown of the largest container ship from the EMMA MAERSK class.
