Greek freighter Everton towed to Durban after major fire

Ports and Ships SAR reported that Greek freighter Everton arrives at the Dormac Marine repair quay in Durban sometime between Oct 22-25, after having been towed by the Subtech Salvage tug TERAS HYDRA. The vessel suffered a major fire on Sep 25. After giving consideration to taking the ship to Beira, it was decided instead to tow her to Durban where an an assessment and investigation into the cause of the fire could be carried out at the Dormac repair quay.
