German freighter Celia refloated after month long salvage operation, Spain

German freighter Celia was refloated off Sidi Saler Beach, Valencia, Spain, on Oct 24, after almost a month long salvage operation. Dutch salvage company Svitzer managed refloat the vessel on Oct 24, early in the morning Oct 25 vessel was taken to Valencia and docked there, for survey and investigation. Two freighters were beached by a storm off Valencia, Spain, on the night of Sep 28. Both vessels were anchored off Sidi Saler beach and were pushed ashore after dragging anchors. As of 14:00 UTC Sep 29 both vessels were in the same position, two tugs on the scene trying to pull the vessels off the beach.
