Livestock carrier Lady Azza damaged by own anchor, Greece

In the morning Oct 15 2012 livestock carrier Lady Azza was docking in Heraklion port with portside anchor lowered to water level. Anchor contacted with pier and portside bow, both pier and vessel suffered damages, vessel’s hull was holed 1 meter above waterline. Vessel detained. Maritime Bulletin
