The double-hulled ships included building the largest container ships worldwide. Neopanamax size will allow them passage of the Panama Canal after its expansion. A number of innovations and details, in particular in terms of environmental protection in maritime transport are schiffbaulich. So, the deckhouse is different from arranged the majority of conventional container ships far forward, allowing for an improved visibility beam and therefore higher front deck loading. Below the building, including the bunker tanks are arranged to meet latest MARPOL regulations. Stabbing out is as far as possible the powerful drive system with the aft-mounted two-stroke diesel main engine type. In the bow are two transverse thrusters with each 1800 of kW. The holds of vessels are sealed with pontoon hatch covers. The ships have a variant based on slightly different container capacity by around 13,100 TEU, an average container weight of fourteen tonnes decreased the capacity to about 9000 TEU. 800 to 1000 connections for integral reefer continue to exist.
