MSC HYUNDAI 13.000 TEU STANDARD TYPE CLASS

13,000-TEU - standard type include the ships of the Hyundai to ULCS container ships.
The series will be built in 2010 by Hyundai heavy industries whose two shipyards in Ulsan and Samho. The type of ship is the most integrated of all ULCS with its different variants so far. So far around 50 units of this series were, and more are under construction.

The double-hulled ships included building the largest container ships worldwide. Neopanamax size will allow them passage of the Panama Canal after its expansion. A number of innovations and details, in particular in terms of environmental protection in maritime transport are schiffbaulich. So, the deckhouse is different from arranged the majority of conventional container ships far forward, allowing for an improved visibility beam and therefore higher front deck loading. The ships have a variant based on slightly different container capacity by around 13,100 TEU, an average container weight of fourteen tonnes decreased the capacity to about 9000 TEU. 800 to 1000 connections for integral reefer continue to exist.
