Vessel ETA Change Events

Providing the most recent changes on the vessel ETA.

About this API

No matter how careful a delivery route or shipment is planned and managed, travelling the seven seas is always limited in its predictability, which in turn presents a great influence how fast a ship can travel. Weather conditions can change unpredictably and sea state changes can have great effects: storms and other interferences and incidents can necessitate course corrections. All of these events can cause delays or a ship to advance its ETA. Always be up to date with the Vessel ETA Change Events API that provides you with the most recent update for change events for any vessel in the comprehensive FleetMon vessel database.

Requested with an IMO, the API provides you with the old ETA and the new ETA including a timestamp of the change event in XML or JSON format. Any changes of the ETA ist of the outmost importance in order to adhere to timetables and schedules, secure the delivery processes and in the coordination of your delivery. Avoiding tailbacks and delays is a major factor in developing and maintaing a successful businesss.
